[Arena] Blooming Heart - Zombot Plank Walker Posted: 23 Feb 2020 10:25 AM PST Note: Practice is available 1 day early (Sunday). New tournament starts tomorrow (Monday). Enter Arena leaderboard first so that the game "knows" your current league, then enter Practice. Otherwise zombies will be too weak (Soil level probably) compared to real Arena and your strategy will not work as good as you think. Note: During early practice zombie scores are probably influenced by the current tournament week. When new week starts scores can be different. You still can find the best strategy, but absolute scores can be higher or lower.
Special rewards: my prediction - #5 Ail-mint family pinata, all rewards x2 (I hope).
Locked plant: Blooming Heart. Sun: 1200. Note: some sun from the sky. Plant Food: 3 at the start. Note: PF from Robo-Cones and some other zombies. Time: 3:00.
Banned: the usual 6 (Perfume, Gold Leaf, etc). Plants cooldowns are halved! Zombies: Pirate zombies, Bully, Robo-Cone.
Zombot Plank Walker Summons zombies, fires his own Imp Cannon, charges forward destroying plants and zombies on 2 lanes. Note: Launched Imps can be very annoying and eat a lot of plants at C1-3. Imp rain can't be interrupted in the middle: you get a lot of Imps and Zombot wastes time for launch animation instead of being damaged/giving scores for the player. There is a damage meter with a score in the lower right corner. You get the score when you do certain amount of damage to Zombot. Then the score increases by 10k (not sure about required damage). In Jade you get 5x the score. The number in the circle is the level of your Zombot. lvl1 = 10,000 points, lvl2 = 20,000, etc. It's kinda 2 numbers for the same thing. Note: Bring your most powerful damage dealer and beat the hell out of Zombot. Don't think about penalties. Most scores come from Zombot. It's damage meter is not influenced by penalties. If you do a lot of damage then Zombot gets interrupted before he can do anything (he can't even summon tough zombies like Gargs, etc.).
Lawn: power tiles form pyramid/arrow pointing to Zombot: green 7 (C1L1&5, C1-5L3), red 6 (C1-3L2&4). Ambushes: Swashbucklers.
Buffz: Ail-mint (+150%), Fila-mint (+100%). Bruisez: No. Ineffective: Bombard-mint.
Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

Penny’s Pursuit is a Fantastic New Game Mode... Ruined by Fuel Mechanic Posted: 23 Feb 2020 07:54 AM PST I'd like to preface this by saying that I think popcap did a great job on this new game mode. We have been asking for new single player content forever now and its nice to know that they listened to the community in that regard. This game mode is the most fun I've had playing PVZ2 in a long time. This is why the fuel mechanic is so frustrating to me. I only have the time to play the game once a day (usually for about 30 minutes) and I can only play the new game mode for five minutes before I run out of fuel. I'll list some of the reasons why this system is awful:
In closing, I don't want this to be another "ea bad" post, because I really do love what they are doing with Penny's Pursuit (unlockable premium plants, weekly new content etc.) All I ask is that the fuel mechanic be removed or the maximum fuel storage be increased. I understand it was implemented to try and build the game as a habit (its a typical mobile game strategy), but all its doing is discouraging people from playing the new content and souring their opinion of the game. So let me try again Okay so the arena rn has all plants boosted (Also,. This probably also works in Adventure if you are using a boosted plants. (It has to be under the sun you have at the start) Okay so when it says ready, set, PLANT you click on that seed. And RIGHT after it said plant. You plant the plant. How many coins does penny pursuit zomboss quest give? Posted: 24 Feb 2020 03:08 AM PST I surrendered as I entered level 1 difficulty by accident when I wanted to play level 3 for maximum rewards. However, unfortunately, the game considers surrender as a failed match so I get nothing as reward. So I'm wondering how much coins would I have gotten for lvl 3 difficulty? Any tips for the max difficulty stage in Penny's Pursuit? Posted: 23 Feb 2020 05:08 PM PST So most of my plants are around levels 3-4 with some rare exceptions higher, I think my highest is 8 (puff shroom lol) so I'm kinda struggling with the max difficulty stages in Penny's Pursuit. I've completed two of them (stages 2 and 4) but only after having used roughly 20K coins for each. Any way to clear these with lower level plants without using a ton of coins? I don't really have too many coins, about 40K, so I'd rather not use them all. Thanks in advance! Edit: Title is supposed to say stages lol. [link] [comments] | ||

Now, IDK if something like this already exists and I just haven't looked hard enough, but just in case it isn't, I think it would be a crazy cool mod!
