    Note: Practice is available 1 day early (Sunday). New tournament starts tomorrow (Monday). Enter Battlez leaderboard first so that the game "knows" your current league, then enter Practice. Otherwise zombies will be too weak (Soil level probably) compared to real Battlez and your strategy will not work as good as you think.

    Note: During early practice (1 day before current tournament week ends) zombie scores are probably influenced by current tournament. When new tournament starts scores will be different. You still can find the best strategy, but absolute scores will be higher or lower.

     

    Locked plant: Pyre Vine.

    Special rewards: my prediction - #5 Fire pinata.

    Fire pinata (7+1 plants): Fire Pea, Jalapeno, Snapdragon, Hot Potato, Pepper-pult, Torch, Wasabi + Jack O' Lantern (special events)

    Pepper-mint family (10 plants): Fire Pea, Jalapeno, Snapdragon, Hot Potato, Pepper-pult, Ghost Pepper, Hot Date, Jack O' Lantern, Lava Guava, Pyre Vine

     

    Sun: 1600.

    Plant Food: 3 at the start. Note: PF from some zombies.

    Time: 3:00.

     

    Banned: Blover, Tile Turnip, Escape Root, Intensive Carrot, Holly Barrier, SnapPea, 12 Mints (available: Pepper-mint, Ail-mint), the usual 6 (Perfume, Gold Leaf, etc).

    Note: Maybe it's a new "surprise mechanic" - ban all Mints except buffed ones. We'll see.

    Plants cooldowns are halved!

    Zombies: Frostbite Caves (Basic, Cone, Bucket), Barrel Roller, Parasol, Troglobite, Surfer, Weasel, All-Star, Hair Metal Garg, Deep Sea Garg, other Frostbite Caves zombies summoned by Zombot.

    Note: Hair Metal Garg often comes at lane 4. Plants at the front may disappear because of Garg's range attack. Mints can block Hair Metal Garg range attacks.

     

    Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC

    Summons zombies, creates columns of ice blocks (plants are killed), fires ice blocks, blows frozen winds up to two lanes.

    The Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC resides in a 3x3 ice cube that absorbs some damage before breaking (may depend on league / zombie difficulty), revealing a stunned Zombot. During these few seconds, the plants can attack the Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC. Afterwards, the Tuskmaster quickly refreezes another large ice cube around itself as well as a fresh first lane of ice blocks.

    Note: Zombot Tuskmaster DOESN'T MOVE! First of all concentrate maximum fire on lanes 2-4.

    Note: Be careful planting at C6. Plants are often killed by ice blocks. There is a bug - if Mint is killed by an ice block then buff becomes permanent.

     

    There is a damage meter with a score in the lower right corner. You get the score when you do certain amount of damage to Zombot. Then the score increases by 10k (not sure about required damage). In Jade you get 5x the score.

    The number in the circle is the level of your Zombot. lvl1 = 10,000 points, lvl2 = 20,000, etc. It's kinda 2 numbers for the same thing.

    Note: Bring your most powerful damage dealer and beat the hell out of Zombot. Don't think about penalties. Most scores come from Zombot. It's damage meter is not influenced by penalties. If you do a lot of damage then Zombot gets interrupted before he can do anything (he can't even summon tough zombies like Gargs, etc.).

     

    Lawn: 5 power tiles C1, C3 and C4.

     

    Buffz: Pepper-mint, Ail-mint.

    Bruisez: No.

    Ineffective: Appease-mint. Note: goodbye Threepea!

     

    Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

    I just saw pvz3 pre alpha build and I thought it was a Rip-off

    The tittle itself explains everything, even if it's a pre alpha... Just nah.

    I mean, to be honest, if we change everything and put another title in there, some thing like... "robots vs chickens" at least it would be a "good" game... That's what I think.

    But there's something I wonder actually... How to IMPROVE pvz1 or pvz2 mechanics to the point of not making it awful or bloated? What improves would you like in the game? Like the multi-player pvz we all wanted, what would you add?

    I think... From pvz2, making octopus zombies or these kind of zombies less awful and broken... They're absolutely hardcore... And an actual multi-player with plants and zombies, like the xbox360.

    And from pvz1 if I could mod it, I would add a more advanced mode in the third loop of the game (we know, in the second loop we have 3 automatically chosen plants).

    The advanced mode would consist in: In every single stage, you can't see any zombie in the selection stage, and you can only choose 3 plants.

    This sounds hardcore but, it will be added a fourth button where you can repick another 3 plants in game. (with a cool down for sure... Slow cool down like a wall nut)

    And the game won't make unfair zombie infinite spawning like survival endless high flags or PVZ +, instead they would spawn more special zombies (like zombie miner, dancer, football)

    Is it better to buy 100 crystal plants, or spend crystals on seeds to reach higher levels for normal plants first? Note that I have only 1 level 4 plant, and most plants are either level 1 or 2.

    Upcoming Arena

    So, I'm sure many of you have become aware of the new Arena which is going to be a boss battle against the Zombot Tuskmaster 10,000 BC. However, and I know this may seem minor, but this has already turned into a visually unappealing boss fight. You have the ice glacier on the board first up and the Zombot IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH THE REST OF THE ZOMBIES. Not only that, but the zombies that walk on the glacier appear underneath his head, tusks and trunk which just looks so bad and makes it impossible to actually target them. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a fun and interesting game, but it really takes me out of the experience when the layout is broken af and doesn't look right. Okay, my pointless rant is over

    P.S. The Tuskmaster is one of the easiest bosses because he literally does nothing for a while and you can rack up points while he's stunned which is easy to do because he has very low health

    Boosterama Rewards Bug - EA needs to fix

    I tried writing to EA support and they don't seem to understand. This current tournament is a Boosterama tournament, you've introduced these a couple months ago. On the boosterma tournaments, some of the rewards are doubled. As you can see in the video i've uploaded the max reward for a 7 win streak, is 8 pinatas. Yet by some sort of a bug, it's been giving me only 4 pinatas. Please pay attention to the video and see, it says 8 pinatas, then it gives 4 pinatas. This is not a regular Arena season where the max is 4 pinatas, this is boosterma tournament. IF you're still unclear please show to your developers, who will understand the issue immediately. Now i've won so many streaks of wins here and got the wrong rewards, please fix it.. I'm out at least 24 pinatas... That's not ok.

    Okay so notice how PV2 was running in somewhat alright fashion when Haem wasn't on "vacation" I think EA locked her up because of all the complaints she has to pass onto them, and they were tired of hearing it. Now that she isn't around the game is going to total heck, and that's what they want so that we quit playing, and try to move onto their new game. We must band together, and find Haem! She is our only hope to get the game back in order!

    Ricocherry shoots seeds diagonally and bounce its shots at the walls, zombies, and graves. PF: Shoots 20 times that pierce zombies through targets. Class: Appeasment
