    Note: This is a 3 days tournament. After that will be a 4 days Boosterama tournament - the same board, but all plants are boosted. Short tournaments have proportionally smaller tournament rewards.

    Note: Practice is available 1 day early (Sunday) (Wednesday for Boosterama). New tournament starts tomorrow (Monday) (Thursday for Boosterama). Enter Arena leaderboard first so that the game "knows" your current league, then enter Practice. Otherwise zombies will be too weak (Soil level probably) compared to real Arena and your strategy will not work as good as you think.

     

    Non-boosterama special rewards: my prediction - #5 Cold plants pinata.

    Boosterama special rewards: my prediction - #5 Cold plants pinata, #7 premium pinata x2.

    Cold plants pinata (6 plants): Cold Snapdragon, Snow Pea, Missile Toe, Iceberg Lettuce, Winter Mellon, Hurrikale.

    Note: Cold plants pinata is very close to Winter-mint family. It contains all Winter plants except Arena seasonal plants (Ice Bloom and Boingsetta). It also contains Hurrikale from Contain-mint family.

     

    It's a re-run of tournament #92 - my thread.

    Locked plant: Ice Bloom.

    Sun: 1200. Note: sun falls from the sky constantly.

    Plant Food: 3 at the start.

    Time: 3:00.

     

    Banned: all sun production, the usual 6 (Perfume, Gold Leaf, etc).

    Zombies: Peasant (Basic, Cone, Bucket, Knight), Yeti Imp, Barrel Roller, Piano, King, Explorer, Disco-tron 3000, Yeti.

    Note: It's a good idea to try Magnet-shroom against King's knighting power. You get the same scores for removing/destroying a helmet. But Magnet-shroom does it faster, i.e. more zombie waves and more scores. If King knights the same Peasant again then you get scores for removing a new helmet.

     

    Yeti

    Yeti is very tough and destroys plants in an instant. You have to shovel up plants at the front on the lane where Yeti appears. But you get not so many scores for Yeti (150k in Jade). Overall if you see Yeti your scores will probably be lower by 10-20% and by 30% if you allow plants to be destroyed. There can be multiple Yetis at the same time.

    Yeti doesn't eat plants while moving backwards, so you can start replanting a little bit earlier.

    Doesn't work on Yeti: any knock back (including Hurrikale push back and flipping of the lawn by Tumbleweed / Caulipower PF), Caulipower and Enchant-mint hypnosis, Witch Hazel and Spore-shroom transformation, Grimrose and Olive Pit drag down, Chomper/Snap Pea/Toadstool swallow.

    Instantly defeats Yeti: Chili Bean, Hypno-shroom, Imp Pear, Shadow Pea drag down. Electric Blueberry's storm cloud attacks Yeti untill he is defeated.

    Stuns/delays Yeti: E.M.Peach, Iceberg Lettuce, Ice Bloom, Stunion, Kernel-pult and Headbutter Lettuce butter, Puffball, Gumnut, Tumbleweed stun, Contain-mint, Solar Tomato.

    Shrinking Violet and Enforce-mint works on Yeti. Garlic works, but is eaten in one bite.

     

    Tombs: 8 tombs all over the board. No necromancy. Note: tomb pattern may be different for different players.

    Sandstorms: 2 Explorers come to columns 3-9 at 2:45, 2:10, 1:35, 1:05, 0:30.

    Note: Sandstorms are triggered by certain number of zombie waves. Specified time is an example of my practice matches (video below).

    Lawn: 8 tombs all over the board. Note: tomb pattern may be different for different players.

     

    Buffz: Winter-mint (+100%).

    Bruisez: No.

    Ineffective: Spear-mint (-100%).

     

    Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

    Petition the get PopCap to offer electric currant for gems again. Seems like a long time since it has been available and alot of new players don't have it. Seems fair to offer it for gems at least once a year. I have no idea how to tag Haem in a thread in Reddit, if anyone can help?

    So I just fired up PVZGW 1 and 2 for the first time since the beta and holy shit these games are fun, I did not expect the community to be this vast and thriving!
