Usually in the past i would get in tens, on average around 50 seeds... My other modern day plants are not mastery yet. [link] [comments]

My Favorite Plants with Stephen!: Bombegranate and Sling Pea! Posted: 02 Dec 2020 01:18 PM PST We've got a double header again as I wasn't around to post last week's episode =P Hot off the press, I present Stephen Notley's 'My Favorite Plants! feat. Bombegranate and Sling Pea'. Bombegranate I do love myself an exploding plant. A few weeks ago I gushed rhapsodic about Grapeshot, and now it's Bombegranate's turn. Go go Bombegranate! I'll admit Bombegranate gives me a bit of trouble, as it's all too easy to mis-type her name in code as "Bombagranate" or "Bombegrante" or "Bombegranate," and that last one's actually the correct spelling. Then the build explodes because it doesn't know what crazy mystery plant you're talking about and you have to spend 20 minutes squinting at a text editor playing "spot the typo." Loads of laughs, but... I digress. Where Grapeshot's big explosive innovation is the little grapelet blobs of shrapnel that go flying all over the place, Bombegranate is all about the 3x3 grid of exploding seeds she leaves behind after doing her thing. They're pretty handy for secondary damage, and they provide a bit of after-the-fact coverage for imps and critters that may come along post-explosion. But the real secret usefulness for Bombegranate's exploding seeds is that they register as a grid object, so they can block other grid objects from being spawned. This can make allllll the difference in some Arena levels that constantly spawn in gravestones; strategic Bombegranate deployment can block a ton of those new gravestones and help you manage the horde. Thanks, Bombegranate! I knew we'd appreciate your being so exarillate! Sling Pea The week before was all about Apple Mortar and big board coverage. This week it's Sling Pea, who's like Apple Mortar's younger, cheaper brother. Sure, you don't get the heavy artillery feel with Sling Pea, and you don't get all those cool stuns with Sling Pea's shots. On the plus side, Sling Pea's a cheap date, costing just 125 sun at level 1, half of Apple Mortar's sun cost. And, unlike Apple Mortar, a single Sling Pea can hit anywhere on the board. That's right: a slender 125 sun right off the bat gets you full-board coverage, PLUS he'll target his volleys at the zombies closest to your house. Gotta love that smart targeting; it's like the opposite of the mental load required by the various tap-to-activate plants. Plant him and forget him; Sling Pea's on the case. Admittedly, he's not going to be able to hold off the entire horde by himself --he's gonna need backup-- but on an Adventure Mode level where you have limited sun to start, Sling Pea can do a lot of work. Adding Sling Peas just adds to the protection, and again, since he's so cheap, he's super spammable. Fill two or three columns with Sling Peas and zombies are not going to make much headway towards your house. His Plant Food effect is pretty cool as well. Nothing fancy, just loads and loads of peas delivered directly to the faces of the most threatening zombies on the board. BOOF! Take that, you rotten zombies! Annnnnnnd... that's pretty much it! Sling Pea's not a complicated plant, so he doesn't get a complicated My Favorite Plants article. He's okay with it, though; he's humble that way! [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Dec 2020 08:32 PM PST I will not watch many forced 30 second commercials before I delete this game. I've been playing for 12 years, I think and have paid SO MUCH MONEY over the years. They can frick off with them. I'll deal with 5 second ones but today they have been 30 seconds and I'm not having it [link] [comments]
