    Sound glitches on iOS (PvZ2)

    Do any of you guys have this problem when the in-game sound/music just like glitches out and disappears? It used to be a problem when switching between the apps, but now it just happens from time to time (a lot, actually) without any external interference, and it's been like that for over 2 months, I guess.

    Is this common? If it is, are they aware of this (popcap)? Are they going to finally fix it?

    My Favorite Plants with Stephen: Goo Peashooter!

    You asked for more so we're back for another weekly episode with the wonderful Stephen Notley! :)

    Longtime PvZ2 players may recall that we went through a boutique peashooter period a couple of years ago. It wasn't enough to have Peashooters, Repeaters, Threepeaters, Peapods and Primal Peashooters; we wanted more. And, since we already had Snow Pea and Fire Peashooter, it seemed natural to make new Family-themed peashooter variants. Electric Peashooter was a big hit, as was Shadow Peashooter. What next? Goo Peashooter, of course, who started out as "poison_peashooter" before we figured out that "goo" is cuter than "poison."

    Goo Peashooter isn't as flashy as some of the other plants, but that's his game. He's all about slow buildup and big payout, like in those videos advising you to invest in a savings account back in the days when they paid interest. Sure, he doesn't do a ton of damage up front, but with each shot the target zombie takes more and more damage every second to eventual devastating result. Pair him up with stalling and slowing plants to give the poison (or "goo," if you prefer) more time to do its deadly work. Since he's cheap, you can spam the board with him to crank that poison damage rate higher; pretty soon you're taking down big bruisers like Mech Cones and Gargantuars with ease. Plus, poison affects zombies underneath their helms, so Goo Peashooter is great for dealing with coneheads, bucketheads and veteran armored zombies.

    On the down side, Goo Peashooter's slow buildup means he's not so great against huge crowds. So, yeah... don't use him for that.
