    Special rewards: #5 Spear-mint family pinata.

     

    Locked plant: Dartichoke.

    Sun: 2500.

    Plant Food: 1 at the start. Note: a lot of PF if you destroy Big tomb fast and some zombies (Wizard, Bug ~4 PF).

    Time: 3:00.

     

    Banned: Blover, the usual 6 (Perfume, Gold Leaf, etc).

    Zombies: Jurassic Basic, Neon Cone, Frostbite Bucket, hard-headed zombies (Pyramid, Barrel, Cart, Holo, Knight), Bug, Imp Cannon, Wizard, Explorer, Torch.

    Note: If you don't have problems with killing a lot of imps then try not to destroy Imp Cannons, because the score for a Cannon doesn't include scores for all imps that could possibly be launched from it.

     

    Ambushes: Non-stop Necromancy (Big tomb), Sandstorms and Snowstorms up to C6. Zombies are the same that come from the right.

    Lawn: Big PF tomb C7L3 (1 PF). And 5 Red powertiles C1-3 arrow shape pointing to the zombies.

    Note: Bring Grave Buster!!! It destroys Big tomb easily and Big tomb refreshes very often, so you can get a lot of PF!

     

    Buffz: Spear-mint (+100%).

    Bruisez: Contain-mint (-50%). Note: see Buffz&Bruisez explained for bruised special attacks.

    Ineffective: No.

     

    Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

     

    Note: I'm not sure if you have to enter Arena leaderboard first before trying Practice. The scores seem the same, maybe they fixed it.

    Note: Also I'm not sure about this part. During early practice zombie scores are probably influenced by the current tournament week. When new week starts scores can be different. You still can find the best strategy, but absolute scores can be higher or lower.

    Took me almost 10K coins for power ups and 20mins just to complete Penny pursuit level 1, 3 chilli bean difficulty for a meagre 4gems. Who else feels the rewards is too little especially considering its only a one time reward? :(

    'Through this darkness through this night. I'll be alright.'

    Sunflower, repeated singing the same song, hoping for Crazy Dave's return.

    Aside being one bright and cheerful flower she is, but she cannot hold her tears desperately about Crazy Dave's whereabouts.

    It's been years waiting and waiting, no matter how long it takes. She really wanted to bring Dave back to her.

    The world around her became darker, it's because of the Wicked 7 rules them all of both worlds: Earth and a magical planet, known as 'PopTopia'.

    After losing both of LEAF HQ and Z-Tech base (because of one doppelganger who looks like Dave, named "Evil Dave", who has now taken over Neighborville and the rest of the world), Dr. Zomboss starts compiling the plants and zombies work together on his side, and leads a new society, known as 'the Resistance', to bring the world back where it used to.

    As Crazy Dave's spiritual companion and best friend, she unconditionally loved Crazy Dave since the first zombie apocalypse had started. Then she even sings such beautiful songs for him, which totally reminds him of his mom because of her beautiful voice.

    She desperately asks anyone in the Resistance for help to go deeper to find Crazy Dave. But, unfortunately, no one can. Believing Dave is dead through whispers in their ears because of how long he's not been found, Sunflower really hated to hear that and totally tired of these kinds of rumors.

    Dr. Zomboss and Matilda have a huge support for Sunflower, because of her huge depression about Dave's disappearance. Even neither of them don't know where the heck Dave is.

    She spends time alone in a room every time, thinking of Dave. She keeps worrying about what he's been actually doing all his life in years being gone.

    Aside from that, the only worst fear above all she had; Dave's being alone.

    Her worry is too much. She wishes to go find Crazy Dave herself but, she's way too small to run and to find him.

    In order for her to cope with either Dave's disappearance or loneliness, she imagines him calling for her and telling her that he will be coming home so soon.

    One day…

    Sunflower walked through the opened door in the laboratory room, she suddenly heard a beeping sound from the computer. It seems to be a message from Resistance, in some other places.

    Since no one's there in the room, she gets in by herself and opens up the message.

    The message turns out to be a transmission from Patrice, Crazy Dave's niece, she began doing such espionage work the best as she can after years she got captured by the Wicked 7 and forced her to work for them, when she was in Dave's house.

    In Patrice's message, she finally found Crazy Dave that he was actually trapped in the cell inside his own home.

    Much to Sunflower's tears of joy, all these years that she always knew Crazy Dave is still alive as she keeps screwing the rumors out of her depression.

    She ran towards Dr. Zomboss and Matilda, and told them about the message.

    Matilda, then desperately going to save Crazy Dave from hell by herself. In the room, Sunflower keeps hoping for Matilda to bring Dave back to safety.

    'Underneath the Big Dipper'

    She began singing. Still the same song she did for years of waiting.

    'We gathered stars. We took off both our slippers…'

    The rain started to pour, she kept singing so soulfully…

    'And sank into the water'

    It's not really a heavy rain to pour out of the skies, but it drips like her tears started to shred.

    'And we swim'

    'And we fall'

    'Hold my hand'

    'Through it all'

    'If we…-'

    Suddenly she heard the escape pod coming outside the building.

    A thing that she saw through her window, it turns to be Matilda, successfully bringing Crazy Dave back. Unfortunately, when Sunflower's happiness cut short, she found out that Dave's in unstable condition worse than ever.

    Her worry became worse than a happy blessing.

    She cries out of her depression to see Dave slowly turn into dust on the hospital bed. He's not woken yet. His heart beats slowly. His labored breath shakes.

    All of this, she's been waiting for years. It turns out she got nothing but a dead. Completely dead Crazy Dave.

    But, however, she won't let that chance. Even there's no other choice to make Crazy Dave awake from this worse condition he had. Therefore, Sunflower had one thing to request to make him live.

    A week later, Crazy Dave's back from his worse condition, laying on his hospital bed.

    After Matilda walks out of Dave's room, then Sunflower's next to come in.

    As she enters, she already knew what Crazy Dave is now: pale, green skin, and two nostrils with no nose to support them.

    The truth; Sunflower is the one who requested Dr. Zomboss to turn Crazy Dave into a zombie instead, once there are no chances left to make him alive again. Though Dr. Zomboss talked about it already before she asked.

    At least, she wanted him to live, even he's now dead.

    "Davey?"

    "Huh?" Dave didn't expect to see Sunflower who is sitting right next to him on his bed. She didn't mean to disturb his sleep to rest.

    "Are you okey?" She asked as she smiled at him. "How are ya' feeling?"

    "I'm fine…" He said. He's unable to breathe, because of his new form. "But, I'm not sure if I'm getting used to these zombie things…"

    Dave looks at his hands for a while, then Sunflower puts both her leaves as hands on Dave's hands.

    "I'm sure you can. Anyways, I'm sorry to say this, but, I'm the one who asked for this… to make you live."

    Her tears began to pour out of her single eye.

    "Because, it's been years I was so sad since you were gone and I really hate people here to believe that you're dead, I mean… like, you're gone completely for years and never been found. I'm the only one who is willing to wait for you to come back. To me. No matter how long had passed."

    After that, she cried softly. Then Dave wipes her tears away, and then hugs her.

    In Sunflower's happiness, she finally have Dave back, safe and sound. Even though he's now a zombie. Sunflower wraps both of her leaves to hug him back as well.

    "Thank you, Sunny" Dave happily chuckles.

    "I was worried about you for years now… Thinking about what you were actually doing since you were imprisoned." She said. She covered her face with her leaves as she continued to cry, "Please, don't tell me about it, because I don't want you to feel miserable like the last time… And-and, I really don't want to hear it."

    "Hehe… It's alright, Sunny. I'll be fine… As long as you're here with me." Dave smiles as he strokes her petals. Sunflower, also smiles back at him.

    "Hey Dave? I have one song to sing just for you. Would you like to hear?"

    "Sure, I'm glad you asked."

    Sunflower takes a deep breath and starts to sing.

    This time, it's a different song:

    'Short steps, deep breath,'

    'Everything is alright'

    Crazy Dave has been with us since 2009 and has helped us in many ways. His botany knowledge was able to fight off the zombies for as long as possible and he has been relatively safe. But what will we do one day if he slips up and gets bitten? What will the plants do? What will Patrice do about her uncle?
