[NEWS] Update 7.9.3 is now live! Posted: 21 Feb 2020 10:09 AM PST Ave! Friends, Plants, Vegetables lend me your ears! For this latest update we take a trip through space and time, through perils, tacos, brainz and more! In update 7.9 we bring you the following. (Please note: I'll be releasing more in-depth details closer to the actual date/time the below content goes live at - This post is only a summary of what's coming up - If you have specific questions about upcoming content, they will be answered at a later date).
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
As a reminder: "In order to meet new OS requirements, we have updated our minimum supported iOS devices to iOS 9.0 or later, as well as Phone 5s, iPod touch (6th Generation), iPad mini 2, and iPad Pro or later. This change will begin with binary update 7.9. Those on older devices will not be able to get the latest update and will lose access to online features (like Arena), but can continue once they switch to a supported device. We recommend backing-up your progress by logging into Game Center, or Registering your Account with EA (cloud icon on the lower left of the Select a Player screen)." For a list what iOS devices we *do* support from 7.9 onwards, check here. As the great Marcus Cicero said in antiquity: "Si hortum in bibliotheca habes, nihil deerit." - If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need. If you do not currently see the update as being available to download, please refresh or check back later. Some local App stores globally may take longer than others to refresh and display the update being available. We don't have control over the App Stores in question so you may need to check back in a bit if you don't immediately see it. Music: Rome - Phoenix [link] [comments]
[NEWS] Introducing Penny’s Pursuit! Posted: 21 Feb 2020 10:09 AM PST Lawn Defenders, assemble! Crazy Dave has been captured and Penny needs your help to pursue Dr. Zomboss through time and space, fending off both familiar and all-new zombies! In this brand new feature, Penny's Pursuit, you'll be battling in all-new levels with new rewards and ways to shake up your game play and styles, and of course, taking Dr. Zomboss down. We're introducing a couple new things as part of Penny's Pursuit…
For more details check out our blog post here. The inaugural plant for the launch of Penny's Pursuits is Hot Date. We're trying out a different way of going about things, with seed packets for premium plants now available through Penny's Pursuits. This gives you a different opportunities to collect, unlock and upgrade plants. Alongside the increased availability, the amount of seeds needed to unlock the plant is now 200. This is the first time trialing this new collection method and availability, as such we'd be interested to see how this goes. In the same vein of trying out new ways of going about plant unlocks and that, Dartichoke has slightly different unlock requirements, and I will go into detail in Dartichoke's own dedicated post here on the subreddit later on. We need to plan for the Zombie Takeover of 2020 Posted: 22 Feb 2020 03:48 AM PST As someone remembered earlier this year, Zomboss said that the Zombie Takeover would occur in 2020. That's this year, so we need to create a plan for how to defend against the zombies. Comment down below to state your ideas. [link] [comments]
If magnet shrooms were real they would be a huge problem Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:05 PM PST Think about it you have to keep cars and tools away from that plant. Not to mention trash cans, scooters and so much more Don't even get me started on the upgraded version of that plant. You cant even walk into a gas station without it stealing coins from the ATM and Cashier [link] [comments]

Energy Mechanics in Penny’s Persuit Posted: 21 Feb 2020 06:57 PM PST Will this be subject to change? Because 3 games per 6 hours (24minutes per energy based on my game, idk if it's different for everyone) is not that much especially for me since I want to try out all the other levels but, as I recall these levels refresh everyday (unless I misread something), so it's kinda impossible (without buying energy for gems) to play all 5 levels in all 3 difficulties. I feel like 24 minutes per energy is a little too excessive. I've played games with these kinds of mechanics, and in my experience they only take 5 minutes per energy, and some games have an ability to increase the maximum energy capacity by either doing it in a F2P style or buying it with special currency. Thoughts? [link] [comments]
