    Note: Practice is available 1 day early (Sunday). New tournament starts tomorrow (Monday). Enter Arena leaderboard first so that the game "knows" your current league, then enter Practice. Otherwise zombies will be too weak (Soil level probably) compared to real Arena and your strategy will not work as good as you think.

    Note: During early practice zombie scores are probably influenced by the current tournament week. When new week starts scores can be different. You still can find the best strategy, but absolute scores can be higher or lower.

     

    Special rewards: my prediction - #5 Cold pinata (not Winter-mint pinata) and all rewards are doubled (I hope).

    Cold pinata (6 plants): Cold Snapdragon, Snow Pea, Missile Toe, Iceberg, Winter Mellon, Hurrikale.

    Winter-mint family pinata (5 plants): Cold Snapdragon, Snow Pea, Missile Toe, Iceberg, Winter Mellon.

     

    Locked plant: Ice Bloom.

    Sun: 1250. Note: A lot of sun from the sky. Zombies are infected with sun for 10 secs after they appear. Moving up and down Zombot destroys zombies and gives us a lot of sun.

    Plant Food: 3 at the start.

    Time: 3:00.

     

    Banned: the usual 6 (Perfume, Gold Leaf, etc).

    Plants cooldowns are halved!

    Zombies: Egypt (Basic, Cone, Bucket, Pyramid), Camel, Pharaoh, Tomb Raiser, Explorer, Torch, other Egypt zombies summoned by Zombot.

     

    Zombot Sphinx-inator

    Summons zombies, fires missiles that destroy 1 tile and create 2 tombs nearby, charges forward destroying plants and zombies on 2 lanes.

    There is a damage meter with a score in the lower right corner. You get the score when you do certain amount of damage to Zombot. Then the score increases by 10k (not sure about required damage). In Jade you get 5x the score.

    The number in the circle is the level of your Zombot. lvl1 = 10,000 points, lvl2 = 20,000, etc. It's kinda 2 numbers for the same thing.

    Note: Bring your most powerful damage dealer and beat the hell out of Zombot. Don't think about penalties. Most scores come from Zombot. It's damage meter is not influenced by penalties. If you do a lot of damage then Zombot gets interrupted before he can do anything (he can't even summon tough zombies like Gargs, etc.).

     

    Ambushes: Sandstorms.

     

    Buffz: Winter-mint.

    Bruisez: Reinforce-mint, Contain-mint. Note: see Buffz&Bruisez explained for bruised special attacks.

    Ineffective: No.

     

    Minimum info about your strategy: league, plant levels/mastery and score. Or you can post screenshot with the score. Otherwise it's hard to understand whether your strategy will work for other players with different plant levels/mastery and in different leagues.

    Pokra seeds gem packets

    Since all the seeds in Festivus have become available, I have been able to purchase the 10 Pokra seeds for 25 gems each night as opposed to once only.

    None of the other seeds for the same offer have been doing this (Not that I am complaining, I have managed to level up Pokra to lvl6 now) has anyone else had this happen?

    Pokra Feastivus seeds

    I made a post earlier last week about which seeds in the Feastivus sale are able to be bought multiple times and it seems all of us have come to the conclusion that we can only buy seeds for Season plants once. This should include Pokra but I keep seeing the seeds reappear every 24 hours or so after I bought them which is really strange.

    I don't see why if we are allowed to buy Pokra seeds multiple times we can't buy more at once (i.e. not need to wait for it to roll back into the store). Does anyone else have this problem?

    Hello all, I've been playing since late Sept, and trying to get the most out of my gauntlets. From what I've been seeing, the best way to maximize their use in Arena is to, get the 150 gem gauntlet bundle, and hold onto as many as you can until Boosteramas and more importantly the Zomboss event at the end. I'm not interested in discussing how things have changed since 7.3, just want to know the best haul nowadays. FYI, I complete the 7-run streak and surrender on the first run of next streak to reset difficulty. Is that necessary? Thank you!
